Course 3 - 2.6 Negative Prompting

In this lecture we cover negative prompts and why they may be better to avoid

This lecture is from the course Generative AI for Writers.

Negative prompts are when you ask the AI not to do something, but these can be tricky to use, as we explain with an example.

While AI continues to advance and may eventually handle negative prompts with greater finesse, for now, it's best to prioritise positive instructions in your prompts. By doing so, you increase the likelihood of receiving outputs that align with your objectives and goals, ensuring that the AI performs in a way that better brings your vision to life.
