Overall, there are more similarities than differences in the ways these different AI models are trained such as chat GPT Claude Gemini et cetera..
But there are some differences that mean that some tools are better for certain tasks.
For example I would say Claude is the writers friend and the best tool to use for various writing type tasks.
Claude can handle the most amount of text something called a ‘context window’ which is basically how much text can you give it.
This makes Claude much more useful for the task I described in my article for example reviewing and giving feedback on text because you could easily put in an entire article and get feedback on your entire article.
Other AI tools don’t have the same context window size so can’t handle as much text as Claude can.
The other thing that Claude has writers might appreciate is the quality of the writing or the quality of how it uses language is the best so far currently amongst all the AI tools.
This means for example if you’re using it as I did in the tip to get feedback the way it describes potential issues with an article and ways to improve are going to be much richer and better expressed by Claude in a way that will make more sense to writers.
Great article, Pranath! Claude is the best writing assistant. Do they use learning models that differ from others, like ChatGPT or Gemini AI?
Thanks for the kind words 🙂
